Val Canali in summer

"Enter, venture a little amid the crags, touch them, listen to their silence, feel their mysterious life."
Dino Buzzati

From Val Canali to Passo Cereda, from Fiera di Primiero to San Martino di Castrozza: in summer the Paneveggio-Pale di San Martino Natural Park offers endless sensations to mountain lovers of all ages. Start with the easier itineraries, such as the Muse Fedaie educational trail, which you can also travel by bike. The Villa Welsperg visitor centre leads to the shores of the lake of the same name where you can reflect on the theme of biodiversity through fun interactive stations. Those who want to climb in altitude can reach the characteristic Treviso hut(1629 m) or, higher up, the Pradidali hut(2279 m). The Gruppo delle Pale is also an Eldorado for those looking for challenging via ferratas. The tough aided path Dino Buzzati is dedicated to the famous writer from Belluno, a habituè of this area. He even stayed right here at our Cant del Gal. This path, between bell towers and pinnacles with bizarre shapes, leads to the Velo della Madonna hut, joining the Path of the Cacciatore. Take a walk in the forest to see the flowering of the undergrowth with the awakening of spring, offering a myriad of colours and fragrances. From July to September, get inspired by the Dolomites active mountain programme, offering various organized activities on a daily basis, such as trips to get to know the work of the mountain pastures or an introduction to climbing. Whatever the adventure, enjoy the mountains, everyone!
